W\u00e4hrend Gamification nachweislich das Verhalten von Mitarbeitern effektiv beeinflussen kann, vernachl\u00e4ssigen aktuelle Versuche, Gamification f\u00fcr Nachhaltigkeit am Arbeitsplatz zu gestalten, weitgehend die Bedeutung des Verst\u00e4ndnisses pers\u00f6nlicher Faktoren und kontextueller Merkmale. In dieser Arbeit werden die Motivationen der Mitarbeiter f\u00fcr nachhaltiges Verhalten und die Erwartungen an die Gestaltungsmerkmale durch Tiefeninterviews mit 27 Mitarbeitern aus verschiedenen KMU untersucht. Unsere Ergebnisse zeigen, dass viele Mitarbeiter eher egoistisch motiviert sind, was die Entwicklung geeigneter Narrative und individualistisch orientierter Designmerkmale nahelegt. Die Mitarbeiter erwarteten utilitaristische, hedonistische und soziale Gestaltungsmerkmale, die in erster Linie dazu dienen, sie bei der Erreichung pers\u00f6nlicher Nachhaltigkeitsziele zu unterst\u00fctzen, und betonten gleichzeitig, dass sich Gamification am Arbeitsplatz nahtlos in die bestehenden Arbeitsabl\u00e4ufe integrieren sollte. While gamification has been shown to influence employee behavior effectively, current attempts to design gamification for sustainability in the workplace largely neglect the importance of understanding personal factors and contextual characteristics. This work explores employees' motivations for sustainable behavior and expectations for design features through in-depth interviews with 27 employees from different SMEs. Our results show that many employees tend to be egoistically motivated, suggesting the design of appropriate narratives and individualistic-oriented design features. Employees expected utilitarian, hedonistic, and social design features that primarily serve to support them in achieving personal sustainability goals while highlighting that gamification at work should also integrate seamlessly with existing work routines.
